One thing we need to guard against is complacency as a lot of noise on podcasts and stuff about us running away with it, we haven't played a team yet thar I consider to be a challenger or top 4 (Raith, QP, Partick)

Been a good start and happy with our defensive record and how we are shaping up however tougher tests to come in next few weeks

Yes and remember Pars at home a month ago when we weren't too clever.
There are going to be other games like this unless I'm undervaluing our progress.

Anything that creates a noisier atmosphere is a good thing. The real bug bear of mine is the introduction over the last couple of decades of playing stuff over the tannoy when a goal is scored. There is nothing better in football than the roar of the crowd when a goal is scored and the spontaneous reaction. To play music at the very moment you are guaranteed noise, and some of the jingles are cringe, is utter madness and another sign of the sanitising of football since the 1980's. At least with Ultras they are putting atmosphere back in to the stadiums.

Depends what the goal scoring song is though. We used to play Beautiful Sunday back in the day - the singalong to that after it came off Robertson's erse in 2010 will live long in the memories.

Robertson's Erse 2010 remains in my top 2 Tannadice experiences of all time. There was just something extra special about it & I nearly fell from the Dode Fox upper.

The other one is Brian Welsh's last minute equaliser in the Partick play-off game season.94/95.

Top 2 outside Tannadice is the Dens Park Massacre of 65 & the '94 Hampden final

He was a horrible player, knew every cheat in the book. (We nearly signed him once.)

I don't really understand what is meant by a quiet zone or how it's even possible. It'll be interesting to hear where it is.

I feel bad writing this in reply to your good self, but then i have form for that! With that in mind, this may not come across as intended.

As someone who does not have their troubles to seek, i though you would have an understanding that not all disabilities are visible. However, the very people i think these quiet areas are intended for have become more visible in the crowd in the last few years, usually youngsters wearing ear defenders. While some may be wearing ear defenders by personal choice, most i am inclined to say may need this for sensory issues caused by excessive noise that go along with neurodiversity issues.

Im all for provisions like this if it means more punters through the gates and i applaud the club for going down this route. You might need to get to Isla Street a wee bit earlier in the future though!

Tilson, Glass,
Kai, Watt, Cudjoe,
Moult.

Its between dropping Watt and Middleton, but i dont want Docherty and Sibbald rushed back too soon.

I would have hoped that you would have read the start of my reply and realised i was seriously uncomfortable writing that. The fact you see it as sarcastic is actually quite upsetting, not that its actually upset me.

Funny though, i make a sarcastic remark about T Watts effort last week and you jumped on that taking it as gospel, then a genuine attempt at information is seen as sarcastic!
