Individual defensive mistakes and missed chances mainly by Asante are costing us points if he had taken his chances we would have 4 points more at least we only have effectively 15 players the Corberan trusts i'm not sure what some fans were expecting this season it was always going to be more of a struggle with the squad we have, Corberan wanted 7 players brought in and only got 3 the only time we can judge Corberan properly is when he is allowed to bring more of his own players in and we get rid of more of the overpaid players we have.

I was in the CCF (Combined Cadet Force) when at school, it was compulsory, and we used WW2 style 303 rifles, blanks were used on our exercises and we also had a Bren gun but blanks wouldn’t work in those, so we used a football rattle instead; it doesn’t sound much like a machine gun, though!

I’ve long thought that Bartley is possibly a thought as a target man in these desperate circumstances.

Remember when Paul Warhurst went up front for Blackburn in the 90’s and I think Steve Elliot for Leicester in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

Jenny Burns for Blues in the 70’s, all of them were very effective.

I’d play 4-2-3-1 and risk lack of mobility for hold up and arial potential.
Cedric Kipre started out as a centre forward in his youth. #Fact.

I'm in favour of trying something radical such as Bartley or Ajayi up front especially in view of our lack of options.
But I can't see Corberan doing that any time this decade.

These days coaches go through the UEFA school of excellence.
That's why we get subs on 60 minutes etc. Very few coaches these days will chance their arm and do anything radical.

That's partly why for me the game generally has become sterile and boring.

Reminds me of when Barry Fry was Blues manager, he’d often be so p I s s e d off after 25-30 minutes he’d throw all 3 subs on!🤣🤣🤣

    Oh for those days again.
