the media company is in the development stage right now. I'm spending a boat load of cash on the branding, marketing and getting the team together.

I listened to the whole podcast.

Bruce comes across as a nice guy. He speaks well, and I was starting to sympathise with him, until he started talking about Newcastle.
He still doesn't seem to accept any responsbility for the poor peformances etc. Simon Jordan pointed out how players have come on so much since he left, Joelinton and Almiron, Longstaff etc. Bruce didn't really address it, only to say he never considered Joelinton could play in mid.

He was again trying to take crediot for the appointment of Howe. He said he recommended Gerrard also.

He had a dig at the press. Craig Hope in particular.

I think the truth is, he just wasn't the right fit for Newcastle as a club. Not in any way, shape or form.
He lacked ambition, integirty, tactical knowledge, you name it. He ruined the careers of certain players and delayed the development of others.

There is a reason fans regard Rafa so highly and Bruce so low, despite simialr league finishes. Rafa always felt like one of us, Bruce never did.

The guy is in complete denial.

Every single place he has been he's completely failed. Every single club he managed he wrecked. The carbon copy of his tenure at NUFC. Ask Villa, West Brom (who still haven't recovered), Hull (he destroyed), Wigan. On and on and on.

I've written the treatment for the profile piece. when we come to film it, we'll be reaching out to all the fans groups of each of the clubs he's wrecked and get them to tell us what he was like as a manager.

It will be the same story over and over.

Moreover, I don't buy this 'New guy' image. Bill Cosby, Jimmy Saville etc that's the kind of person he comes across as. It's fake nice, fake kind soft spoken.

The man shouldn't mention Champions League winner Rafa Benitez, certainly there is no comparison between the two. Had Cabbage not been Man U Captain, no one would even know who he is today.

So it was of great surprise that the same voices weren't chiming in to promote the rotten vegetable for the Swamp job.

Has anyone got any idea what Bruce has stolen over the years of his so called management career in pay offs, being bought out early into a contract purely because of being a failure at his job, an inept charlatan, and master of the false pretences.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if his total figure was a world record for conning gullible owners out of millions. I stress gullible owners because every time he has had an appointment the lads and lasses who know most, the local supporters of those clubs always groan when they hear his name mentioned.
