    Nope, he has to be a free agent before the window closes to play immediately. He'd have to wait until New Year's Day (possibly after as it's a bank holiday so registration won't be available)

    Yes, Free agents can, but they need to be free agents before the window shuts. Otherwise Harrogate would just have released the player who was going to Wrexham and he'd sign for them after they pay the money.

    Yes, just looked at that but there appears to be a difference between released and out of contract players? Anyway he will come if he's coming.
