Hmm... I dont know if thats the best solution.

Maybe if you move the north west corner of the ground to the north west point of the parking lot, and rotate it counter clockwise around that point... there might be room enough for a bigger stadium.

But then you have to knock everything down and start from there.

Where can we play the games in the meantime?

Certainly not at the Stad du Crap. It would have to be at Middlesbrough, Leeds or even Murrayfield at a pinch.

The park isn't listed but i believe the situation is that if any of the town freemen object then it won't go through.

It was attempted during Sir John's days but there were to many objections.

The Leazes end would be an ideal site, adjacent to the present site.

Yes TT Leazes Park comes under the Town Moor jurisdiction.

A new stadium where we are now is probably the best outcome.. however... there is literally nowhere to play our games in the meantime.. spurs had wembley.. we would have Gateshead stadium.. big difference

Does Gateshead fulfill UEFA or PL stadium requirements?
I dont know how much money matchday generates, but moving to a 10.000 seater means 80% cut in revenue for a year or two. With FFP it could drag club back few steps.
