My 15 year old twin sons just ask “Who are we getting beat by this week Dad?” whilst I watch the matches.

A good attitude I think CIB humour and realism combined. As my mother used to say "worse things happen at sea'".

"Alan Pace, the Burnley chairman, failed to mention Everton manager Sean Dyche in his pre-match programme notes although his former manager wasted little time in reminding him of his talents.
"It was certainly questionable etiquette that, while opposite number Vincent Kompany paid tribute to his predecessor’s decade at Turf Moor, Pace chose not to reference the man he sacked in April 2022, after 425 games, two promotions and a foray into Europe.
Still, whatever the history between the parties, the present finds Dyche once again performing minor miracles, with a fourth consecutive league victory marking the first time Everton have compiled such a run without conceding a goal since November 2002."

I wasn't there so I don't know, and I never noticed on the TV coverage, but I read that they waited until Dyche came out onto the pitch to announce the teams on the public address system, in what appeared to be an attempt to drown out the applause for Dyche. If any of the above is true it does not reflect well on the current ownership of our club.

burnley fans always respect those that have done good service for the club, for anyone not to realise this is either naive or stupid.

Bloody poor taste if they did.

I'd have Dyche managing Burnley over anyone else without question.

    I stand with Sean Dyche.
