I understand that the club needs to say something to justify why 70% of the way through the transfer window we haven't brought anyone in yet other teams around us have, we have also lost the two premier league loans we had as well, so as it stands today we are in a worse position than before the window and the clock is ticking fast. LR is looking for approximately 5 players that is a lot to do in the remaining days. However it is interesting that other clubs complete loan signings from premier league clubs whilst they fill their subs benches and their players are away on international duty, so although those points are a factor it still comes down to the fact, others are doing business and we are not. This points in the direction of other reasons as to why we are not, and I would suspect it is financial, what we are willing to spend and/or whether we are willing to spend. I think the fans and LR deserve us to do business to give us some chance of at least making a fight of it. If at the end of the day all we have is excuses then we are likely to have a lot more empty seats both this season and at the start of next.

Whilst we have lost 3 players and only gained 1 player.
2 of the 3 players were not in the team and the 3rd one was not as good as the 1 we have gained.
So basically we are no weaker ATM. We should be stronger.
Folks who say we need to win 8- 9-10 games. Well technically we only need to win 3. This season the 4th bottom team won't get 50 points. It will be closer to 47. Huddersfield could go unbeaten to the end of the season and end up on 45 points..

Imo stop worrying about things we can't control. Just enjoy the ride and see where it takes us.

We don't want to leave it while the last couple of days of the transfer window,
where we find agents trying to get the older players a last payday, & the Miller's
    dropping for it.
If we look at the transfers upto now on the list I have done, along with others,
without checking I would say 90% are end-season-loans.
I would sooner the Miller's go down this avenue, then in the summer LR recruiting
the players he wants if possible, to build up a side to compete for promotion from
    league one.
By all means fetch a seasoned player in now, but either 6 month loan, or 6 month
    permament deal.
    Lets not get caught out.

If we would have gone for such as REG from Huddersfield Town, by all means would
have given a decent contract, with his age.

agree - no last pay day silly contracts based on desperation - short term with an understanding that they or us may look elsewhere in the summer and plan for the longer term - whichever level that ends up being
