I thought the lads background is in Data Analytics.

He seems to have no experience in the coaching side of the game.

Should be an interesting conversation when he tells Collins and future HC's how he wants the team and individual footballers to play.

He's a friend of James Cryne apparently , let's hope he got the job based on ability and not in a " who you know " way .

Who is the one to praise or blame for recruitment ?

The Chairman

The (to be appointed) Chief Executive Officer

The Sporting Director/ Director of Football

The Recruitment Analyst and his Team

The Head Coach

If it goes well, "It wo me". If it doesn't go well, "It worr'im Guv"

They've hired him to install and implement a Game Model which means we haven't one .


What part of the club's statement is so difficult for you to understand ? .

For all you know the Game Model may well be a more passing based style , the truth is neither you or I know what that will look like .

This guy for all we know may well be hired to play the way Collins wants to with the recruitment based on that .

Until we see over a period of time we don't know and neither do you .

I’m repeating what the club has said - and then watched the evidence of this on the field.
Do you ever listen to what the club actually says ?
Have you not witnessed the difference in style from what Hecky played to how other HCs (except Collins and the Conway 2) have played the game?

BTW - Jay on the BBS has picked up on the same club statement that I noticed.
I know Jay - he’s a thinker - and as usual this latest post of his is well worth reading.
The post is in the thread under the heading of something like - More Information about Dan.

The statement from the club is crystal clear - ‘Dan’ (as he is known by) is responsible for ensuring the Game Model is followed throughout all playing levels within the club.

IMO that could spell conflict.

What you mean is that you've found someone on another site who agrees with you and you've seized upon that as evidence to back up your view .
