To be honest, there aren't too many clubs in the entire world who could afford either Bruno or Isak.

Imagine if they were to go for the sort of money quoted, what wages they could command and what the add on agents fees would have been.

    Exactly Pat!

City, Real, maybe Liverpool at a push could afford to pay +£100m for a player right now.

I watched the Chelsea Isak BS unfold today. Perfect example of utter desperation from the press to generate interest.

We all know the club's stance on Isak, he's irreplaceable.

We have all read Isak's own comments being at Newcastle "best season of my career, very happy at the club, can't wait for next season with the lads"

In reality Chelsea would have to come up with £150m+ to sign him. We'd then have to find a player that will get us 20+ goals next season.

Osimhen would be the only player who we could possibly bring in to do that. We'd spend the same sort of money without assurances he'd be able to do it in the Prem.

Depsite selling all the clubs assets and property to the owners other companies they are still not gonna be able to come up with that sort of cash.

It just goes to show what a load of rubbish all of the transfer rumour business is.

Sure, it gives us fans something to chat about between matches and over summer but the fact is nothing they print is real it's all fiction.

Unless it's a direct quote from the player or the club in questions it's lies.

All the articles are the same, the only sentence or paragraph of information is right at the end. If I do read stories I scroll right down to the bottom, look for the "speak marks" and read that bit. Usual clipped up from an interview or press conference etc.

The interviews and conferences are where you get direct information from the correct people. I pay attention to those. That info is cross referenced with the dozens of articles of points garbage posted or printed.

It always makes me laugh when London.Football or what ever post an article based on comments made by a player with a headline.

"Arxenal get major £126m Alexander Isak transfer update after immediate Chelsea twist"
    https://www.football.london/arsenal-...-isak-29429175

Literally just posted whilst writing this reply.

    It's £126m now. OK. No it isn't.

This is what I mean it's

The very article even quotes Isak himself:- Right at the end of the article as I mentioned above.

Even if Arsenal or Chelsea wanted to sign Isak, the player himself may not be so willing to depart Tyneside given his recent comments about his future. "I’m really, really happy at Newcastle," he told Fotbollskanalen.

“I had my best season of my career. You can’t underestimate that. I love everything about the club, the fans, the city. I don’t really have any thoughts of moving or anything like that. I’m having a great time and I’m very happy with my life."

So how, is that comment in anyway a major 'Update' - Isak had that interview before the end of the season over a month or 6 weeks ago.

But the clicks me views, the views me ad revenue, so they'll keep coming.

No doubt when these deadbeats figure out how to engage AI to search for comments & content then Chat GBT out articles these phenomena will only intensify. Soon editors won't need to pay hacks at all, they'll just rob generate articles. The rise of the robo journo is coming.

Aren't we all excited about that steaming pile of horse Shyte!
