I have both, one for Work one for Home. I think Windows 11 is great but you have to get out of the Windows 10 mindset and accept that it's slightly different.

    I've had no compatibility issues.

For those running Libre Office, try Free Office, much nearer to the MS Products in look and feel.

All faaar too complicated for a dinosaur like me. Libre Office? Free office? Never heard of them, what do they do? How do they differ? Is it worth going to Cougar Systems in Bulwell?

Your original post suggested that your PC won't work with W11. In that case it'll still receive security patches/updates until Oct 25. Unless it breaks in the meantime I'd follow the mantra 'If it ain't broke don't fix it'.

Some PC's that come up with the message you got can be hacked to run W11 by someone itk but it's not guaranteed!

Libre Office and Free Office are free versions of the equivalent of Microsoft Office (for writing letters, creating spreadsheets etc.). There all very similar but with their own quirks.

It looks interesting though I do have a preference for Open Source rather that Proprietary. But also available on Android so I'll have to give it a test.

Thank you LincsPie. It would seem that I would have no use for Libre Office or Free Office or anything similar as I don’t use my computer for any kind of office or business work or paperwork in general. Thanks again.
