The manager has today confirmed that Leighton Clarkson has sustained a shoulder injury that will keep him out for up to 8 weeks.
The influential midfielder had made an impressive start to the season but following a collision in last weekend’s match a fracture was found in his shoulder which will rule him out of action.
We wish Leighton a speedy recovery.
So move McGrath infield with likes of Besuijen/Duncan etc wide?

Or keep McGrath left? Bring someone else into the middle - Gueye? Maybe Milne. NOT Jensen.

I like McGrath infield which I think of as his position but equally think he’s more disciplined wide than the alternatives.

Sickener for Clarkson who had started well in that further forward role.

Of course ideally it’ll be the amazing new player we sign…

So we never signed that new amazing player….
Of course we could play both Sokler & Miovski but doubt it. I never even considered McGarry wide left either?
I’m trying to convince myself its exciting having a new manager you can’t predict to make up for lack of exciting options

And speaking of discipline - that’s a long time the Duk situation has rumbled on now. Still bewildered by the laddie’s decision making.
With the Miovski situation and him not being played he’d have been a likely first pic for his favoured position and could have put himself even more in shop window.

Aberdeen - St. Johnstone games are not known for being huge goal fests, but I still think we will triumph 2-0.

I have this nagging feeling that this is where Thelins revolutiion hits a brick wall , we realise that it will take more than a couple of games against lower leagur oppsition to play a succesful hiigh press game in Scotland ?

I hope I`m wrong , but still worry that Thelin really does believe he`ll be given a few years to gradually build a decent side........ wheras the howling mob is more likely to step in after a few games of wishy washy play and being bullied by the hammerthrowers and nsanely stupid decision by both Referees and VAR ?!!

    Aw well. COYR !!!

The f*ckers have hit us for five on two occasions, including that horrible afternoon in September 1990.

Expect a tough game tonight, but should hopefully get the points.
