Good match and a great win - 6 points from 6.
Really don’t think that’s close to what will be our starting 11, and to dig out the win with 3 goals is a very good sign.
Need to iron out some of the more comedic attempts to play out from the back, but you can see the impact of Thelin already. Good stuff.
Finally having a proper manager makes a big difference.
Good to see Vinny and Gueye get on the score sheet. Its looking good under Thelin so far with 7 wins out of 7.
Got to say all the best to Miovski he deserves his move to one of the top leagues.
What a player he was for us one of the best we have had in a long time.Great player with a superb attitude.
After the away game at St Midden at the start of last season; night and day.
It's a shame the manager didn't get a proper chance to work with Miovski.
So long and thanks for all the goals.
Just back.
A decent performance from us and a good win against a team of dirty, hammer throwing b@stards. Their players go down quicker than a prostitute on a bonus if anything goes near them.
Ref tried his best to stop us winning too, but quality won in the end.
You can see Thelin knows what he is doing and we have a way of playing, which I think will be good once we get a couple of more bodies in.
On the player front. Papa G is going to be a cult hero if he sticks around. I'm not convinced the loon is a footballer, but you can't fault his effort.
Nilson looks like the type of guy who collects guns and who I wouldn't want to share a dressing room with after a defeat. A few wayward passes, but you can tell he is a decent player and once he gets up to speed with the game in Scotland I think he will become a big player for us.
Mitov will be just fine in goal for us, but again the playing it out from the back at times gives me the fear. Good to see him actually catch balls instead of palming everything away.
Shaymo didn't do badly, couldn't fault him much, but always seems to run into players. He seems to struggle if he has to think what he is doing.
I've never been a huge fan of Ruby and still think he will cost us goals.
Thought Malloy looks decent and should only get better.
McGrath is a class player who we need to try and get signed up longer.
Shinnie was my MOTM and led by example as he usually does.
Sokler did OK. Not sure what happened when he was put through on goal early doors and looked as though he was fouled. I still see him as a Rooney type player rather than a Miovski.
McKenzie did fine enough today too.
Devlin was solid and his run in the first half was superb and deserved to be rewarded with a goal. His booking was shocking.
Not just the goals, all round play, link up - complete striker and did it with a smile on his face even through some ****ty periods
May you go on to great things Bojan- loved having you as a Dons player and you will always be welcome
Farewell to our sweet Prince Bojan. I think I had something in my eye when he did his farewell lap.
Maybe not our GOAT, but would have been good to see him in a decent team.
You could clearly see he loved being at the club and deserved the send off he got.
I hope he goes on and proves himself and wherever he ends up.
Very true. Thelin seems to have had a real positive influence on the full club. It was certainly needed.
Bojan Miovski….he is a very good striker and I reckon could easily score goals in any league. The lad is a grafter and a great finisher. One of the best I have seen at Aberdeen.
I wish we had more about us and could keep him. Scottish football has not a lot going for it currently though and i certainly don’t blame him for wanting a shot in the Champions League and LaLiga.
Would like to be able to go through the past comments but being a technophobe I'm going on my memory (not, obviously a reliable source at 74) ....when Bojan first joined us, the late lamented DonsDaft posted something along the lines of, "We've got ourselves a proper centre-forward" and, **** me, he was right on the money. Miovski, playing in this set-up, not having to spend most of his time chasing long balls down the channel, not trying to beat 6'5" players to the latest hopeful punt in his direction, not spending endless energy closing down CBs playing it around the 18-yd line, would have scored 30 goals plus each season he was with us. He is a top professional and hopefully he goes on to have a great career wherever he goes.
3 or 4 players away from what I imagine will be our final first eleven but hugely encouraged by that.
Can actually see what we are trying to do.
I hope it's not just new manager bounce but we have a bunch of guys with fantastic attitudes/application right now.
And again another captains performance from Shinnie. Hold my hands up, I've been sniffy about him in the past but he really is an inspiration out there.
As for the opposition - sad what SR has turned this lot into. A bunch of dislikeable greeting faced chunts. And thats just the fans... the players are even worse.
