Berge won't get much changed out of 5 million for his cottage in Barnes

Then we have the kid Basher who also plays CH coming in on a loan to buy from Chelsea. He might be another 20milly plus lad in 18 months, who knows.

Would be good business getting shut of Benson, who has glass legs, doesn't look fit either, and over weight

JBG off to Saudi, yet more good business

Al Dakhil off to. Would also like to see us get shut of Beyer and keep McNally who is proven at this level. Ffs how many CHs do we need?

Need to add to midfield and keep Brownhill at all costs now Berge has gone.

Get shut of Trafford to, juries still out on him. If we can get 17-20 million for him its a no brainer

Keep Vitinho who looks good at this level and move on some of the other lads from overseas who aren't getting a look in

A little bit of tweaking here and there and job will be reyt on brothers
In what strange tongue do you speak ballcock?

I've no problems with reducing the squad etc but with the transfer window open since mid June we should have had the makings of a settled squad before the season started so the players could have got to know each other in pre season training.

Or give the new manager time to assess the squad?

He should have been appointed sooner too. Kompany left in May.

It's real life, not football manager or whatever games people play nowadays

I know all about the Lizard, a mate of mine who plays poker for a living reckons he plays against him online fairly regularly. But this is how Brighton make it work,

Moises Caicedo, bought for £5 million, sold for £115 million.
Alexis Mac Allister, bought for £7.5 million, sold for £35 million.
Marc Cucurella, bought for £15 million, sold for £62 million.

Not far short of £200 million profit on just three players. Last summer they brought three players in for £53 million, this summer they've spent £107 million on signing six players. Nine players at an average fee of around £17 million each, Bloom isn't buying these players for them, he doesn't need to, their player sales generate easily enough to cover these incomings, and at £17 million the players Brighton are signing are within our range as well.

Kompany mentioned Brighton on Mission as a club we were hoping to emulate, whether we will or not I don't know, but it's most certainly not impossible, and that's always been our intention since Pace arrived.

    Yes it works now

But it cost him 600 million to get to the point which you described
Not sure we can do that!!
