Dont know where Fleetwood are getting their money from?? I dont think we have any other irons in the fire its all talk about getting further players in. If we wanted players the Bros would have done the deals by now. Leaves us very weak in areas and short of depth overall. Mid table finish at best.

The club have nothing at all to gain by telling the fans that they are still looking to strengthen if they have no intention of doing so. We've been told several times that we are still in the market.

Can you tell us who suggested that Austin is the next Messi? It certainly wasn't me, but you are clearly referring to my post about Austin's very good first half at Shrewsbury. I think I said something about Austin being an honest, decent player who works hard and is a reliable squad member. I stand by that.

In my youth I watched Notts winning promotion from the Third Division (League One) with Brindley at right back. He was an honest, decent player who worked hard and was a reliable squad member (actually a first team regular, a good defender but very limited in attack). We need players like that, as well as the Needhams, Massons and Carters.

Neither should be starting a heavy number of games, but both are well worth their place in the squad. It’s a long old season, there’s plenty of value to be had from both of them.

Some classic reductio ad absurdum. I don’t think there are many arguing Austin should be starting every single league game. But the inability to see any sort of value he can bring is slightly baffling to me.

Sorry but it's absolute fantasy that a league two side can fund a 25 man squad of top end players while keeping them all motivated and ready to step in.

The signing of Ness for example, sounded like he wasn't initially on the radar but then became available. Again managers talk about the 'domino effect' it happens in football, whether you're Notts County or Manchester United. I'm sure the brothers are doing all they can.

We were just waiting for clubs to agree nearly 3 weeks ago now, we aren't signing anyone, if we are, they aren't first, second or third choices
