A great shame if his career was ended. A very promising future in tatters.
Pray that he can return fully fit soon rather than later.

Arguably Notts' most pivotal post-war season was 1975/76. Promotion that season may well have changed everything with a knock-on effect for the whole of English football. Before my time but seems we had quite a few minor injuries keeping players out here and there. Steve Carter however was missing through injury for almost all matches after game 19 (when we were still above WBA who snatched the last promotion spot). He had put in a transfer request that January, so maybe he would have left had he not got injured? Carter ended up staying for another 2 years.

Is it still concussion? How can you have it for a fortnight? If it's something else now, fair enough but only Notts could have someone out with concussion for a fortnight FFS.
Head traumas and concussion can cause lifelong damage and those affected by them often don't know that they have them. However other people around them, often have to suffer.

Very similar to someone who is stupid - they don't know they're stupid, but everybody else around them suffers.

The big unknown is Lucas Ness. We’ve spent money on him, on a 3-year deal (with 1-year extension clause), even though he’s recovering from a “minor ankle injury”, so let’s hope we haven’t got another Dave Robinson/Ben Burgess on our hands.

I trust the current medical team a bit more than the past ones, though.

What are the chances of that? I've never heard of a player retire early because of concussion.
