Seeing as we have key injuries, can't see nuffing but a defeat.

They think Slocombe should have been sent off, booked for the incident when he picked it up when he shouldn't and then booked for the penalty.

Chesterfield's results so far have been strange. Startling away victories at top 8 clubs Donny (3-0) and Crewe (5-0) and yet they've only drawn at home to struggling Cheltenham and Swindon. The only team to have lost there is Grimsby.

The play off final ingredient should eclipse all other factors though, you'd expect them to be more up for this than any other fixture this season.

Chesterfield will no doubt be up for this game as they will be wanting to prove a point after the Wembley defeat. Add in that we are away to a local rival which rarely has the outcome we want. Then add into that our injuries. I have visions of a repeat of Mansfield away last season and whilst Chesterfield will probably not be of the same standard the script dictates they will be fired up for it no doubt at the start and we are vulnerable to conceding early goals.

One thing is for sure we’ve got to try and take our chances when they present themselves. This was our downfall against Mansfield away last season. I can see why people might be predicting a defeat. I think we could do enough to get a draw. Didzy if available and Jatta will be key and if they can produce a moment or two of individual brilliance we could kick a win.

    Chesterfield 1-1 Notts County
    McGoldrick

Attendance: Max capacity we are allocated.

Oh... I was probably too livid at Slocombe to realise at the time.

I'm afraid I can only see a defeat in this one.
