As a miner's son brought up on a Doduth Council Estate and now living in a two up-two darn terrace in Sowerby Bridge portraying me as a modern day Poirot is slightly off the mark . Like a number of people tha thinks that working class people are incapable of stringing a sentence together.

YN--Single having had no long term relationships. Lives in hostel type flat--Sally Army ? No friends apart from Kipper Jackson. Hangs around edges of gatherings of "important" people seeking attention but being ignored--Alan Partridge style. Spends time walking rarnd tarn in an old duffle coat and worn trainers supping White Leetnin.

It seems I’ve hit a bit of a nerve there - as your depiction of me is just an exercise in slagging off.
None of it accurate - but funny tho.

Although I do try to get into the town centre once or twice a week during dinner time ish.
Hopefully if I get time I’ll be in today - walk through the market - buy a Chronicle - cuppa in Coffee Boy.

I have a couple of close mates who I go to the matches with now and again. Doesn't matter how often I see them. Proper friends. After that not so many. Hence the hours spent on message boards.

When I met Laura I went all in. To the point where I cut myself off with my family and friends here at Pontefract. Stopped playing cricket etc. I isolated myself a bit. Maybe could have made a better effort but my family was my life.

All I've got left now is George really.

I think I let myself get too caught up in the BBS and started seeing people I'd never met as friends. Deluded through loneliness in a way. Quite sad really.

That’s what I’m saying - that’s exactly what happened to me.
I was banned for retaliating.
This was after accusations of being a racist had been posted by Mansfield Red and Jack Tatty for months.
It amounted to a concerted effort of bullying and Admin did nothing.

But I have to admit that eventually I reacted badly to it - but it was me that got banned - not the vile ##### carrying out the continuous high level of intimidation.

As you have eluded to - that indicates individual mods have an hidden agenda hoping certain posters step out of line so they can ban them.
Which IMO is totally against the culture of what a football club forum should be.

Honestly Dawson - when a site is managed like that you are better off out of it.
You live and learn.
