Statistics and data do get you points that is why all clubs use them now to input to their decision making in terms of fitness, tactics and player recruitment. You complain about recruitment on about injuries etc, well what do you think they use to identify possible recruits or to evaluate a recruit....yes you guessed it, statistically data that has been collected about that player, they will use that data to undertake a risk assessment, they will look at medical data as part of that assessment. They look at the data that comes of the devices the players wear to assess their fitness, Evans stated this last week when talking about JCH not being at the cardio levels required. The intelligent use of data and the statistically analysis of that data is a large part of the modern game and that usage impacts results.

I know games changed but what won't change is older you get with alot of games under your belt the risk factor is alot greater. Even younger players not much so in Dawson his case surely risk factor of him not leaving his line on corners would make you think twice about signing him. Jules Mcdonald Osong honestly don't know what they're doing here. Recruitment some people have an eye for players got to see them in a number of games incl' away games to make a fair assessment on them. In league 1 we should be I'd say with our budget more savvy when it comes to signings.

Jules was signed when they had McCart on the transfer list and they thought he was on his way. Then they realised he could play a bit! McDonald was signed on a 1 year as Evans's ''ear'' in the dressing room because he has followed him round from club to club for years. With regards Osong,I guess he is just surplus to requirements at the moment.I think the reason why we all feel we are 2 or 3 good players short at the moment is down to the time when it suddenly all went quiet on the transfer front a couple of weeks before the deadline. Evans seemed to change the narrative in the media as if someone had put the block on.This was even after the sale of Rathbone.

TS surrounds himself with people that do as he says or are his mates, RS, PD, SE and PR aren't good enough and if TS doesn't realise that and he can't see that Evans is full of crap then god help us, so many things wrong at this club and it starts be reducing your playing staff after a relegation by 30%

RS gets more stick than he needs.

From memory it was him and other board members who didn't want Evo.

    How right they look now.

Do you not think Rob Scott has been sidelined and that these are all Evans recruits ? Maybe he's just happy to sit back, draw a wage and let the big guy destroy his self.
