Still plenty to do to yet convince me but looking much better than the Huddersfield debacle's.
Killip didn’t have much to do but his distribution of the ball was much better than the Chelsea lad.
I thought Killip did very well , he made a very smart save at a crucial time on the stroke of half time, I also thought the defence looked more assured with him behind them especially from set pieces , it was noticeable that when we defended free kicks we kept a high line which is a vote of confidence in the keeper to be able to look after a bigger space. Any away win is a good result , they were poor but some of that might have down to how we played , who knows and whats more who care , 3 points in the bag and a clean sheet , a good day !!!

Crawley, Shrewsbury and Burton now occupy the bottom three places. The league table is beginning to take shape and these three are looking to be heading for relegation. We have the final one of the bottom four, Cambridge, as our next away game so here's hoping for a full set. Away fixtures then get a little tougher--Wrexham A, Exeter A, Bolton A, Peterborough A in December.

I saw summat yesterday I haven't seen since Woodrow was in his best form at the club under Stendel .

In the grand scheme of things it might not amount to much but that take from Watters in the second half on the run that put him in on goal was seriously impressive .

You generally don't see that kind of thing at this level , it's extremely rare even amongst the better forwards in league one , I take the point the keeper saved it but the way he set himself and sprinting towards goal too really caught my eye .

Yes it was a fantastic first touch, shame he couldn’t put it in. Watters made some great runs in behind and looked rapid yesterday. Let’s hope he can keep his form and confidence going because none of our other strikers can run in behind like him. Maybe Humphrys might have to pace to do it but he looks like he’d rather drop a bit deeper and run at the defenders.

To be honest SB to me it is not their current league position which you look at to make a judgement on the result it is the position and form a team is in when you play them in that matters , Burton and Crawley were not in the bottom three when we played them and for example I remember a couple of seasons ago we went to Cambridge after about six games and they were in the top six and on good form , we scored 3 and won the game comfortably , at the time it was a great result but as the season went by they sank lower and lower and were different opposition to the team we played early on , so for me you can only look at who you are playing at the actual time of the match and not weeks later when anything can change , also we all remember the season we were in the bottom 3 at xmas and got promoted , my point is that things change throughout the season and basically it is down to current form to a judge the performance in any match.

True Shads. teams can have good runs and bad runs in a season.

Burton haven't won a game and lost 8

Shrewsbury hve won 2 and lost 10

I think most people would suggest they will struggle this season and they are likely to provide weaker opposition than say Birmingham, Wrexham and Huddersfield.
