We are lucky to have him managing on a shoestring , bottom of the table when arrived and never moans about budget or injuries .
Hardest working manager we have ever had , keep the faith we are going up COYB

Difficult to disagree with the various comments on this topic. Inevitability we have differing thoughts on players and their selection over others-thank goodness !
My related complaint is the delay in substitutions. Surely the last match warranted changes early doors…maybe at the start of the 2nd half. It appears to me that CC makes his changes at late as possible, often once the game has deteriorated too far!

I hate to say this but this is the start of the end of CC. I’m pretty sure we had a similar long spell of draws last season also. I think his player selections are sometimes strange.. this has happened with previous managers - and when this happens - it don’t end well. He seemed to slip into this mode last season and nothing improved. Adios our Spanish Southgate.

I watched both the Stoke v Derby and Boro v Coventry games, both games played in the right way, on the front foot, plenty of ‘out of your seat action’, football played in the correct manner, trying to win a game, none of this pedestrian tippy tappy Spanish crap, good old English football, Coventry could have been 2 up within 20 mins but for marginal offsides, Asante had an effort narrowly over from the half way line, they murdered Boro, really entertaining, for all he’s done I for one won’t shed any tears at Corberan and his anti football going

It will be very interesting to see the side that Carlos selects on Thursday for the visit of Burnley. He has to rethink the selection of Wallace and Diangana who have made little impact this season. I thought that on Friday we had returned to the hoof ball era as there was little or no football played. He has to return to the line up that achieved the early season success, obviously without the injured defenders, but defending isn’t the major problem.

Agree, but I think we all know what will happen, CC will be terrified to lose and we’ll see another Leeds game, 0-0 will probably suit CC to the ground
Another bore draw and things could get quite toxic very quickly

Just checked the table and all the teams you have mentioned are below us in despite us not winning for 7 games and at least 3 of them have spent a lot more money than us, playing open football in this league doesn't guarantee results, I guess it depends what people want a manager that doesn't take risks but will likely keep us in and around the play-offs or more entertainment where we will probably concede more goals meaning more defeats, also I'm not sure drastically changing the style will suit the players we have, despite changing lots of players we still don't have a very mobile pacy squad.

That said, he has done a grand job in getting us to where we are today and should be commended for picking us up off the floor and stabilising the team.

I understand all of that but all I want is to see us actually create chances, score a goal, see some action and excitement to get me out of my seat, not look at the clock and see that there is another half and hour or so of this boredom to go, 60 odd corners since we scored from one, it’s so boring it’s unreal

The thing for me is that the manager sets up to play a decent brand of football. We play 4231, try to play the ball on the ground and get the ball to the wingers to get at the defence. Early season Maja scored some super team goals and at times we are great to watch.

The reason it’s not working now is because the wingers (other than Grant) are out of form. The centre halves don’t suit the brand so it often sticks with them longer than it should and frankly we have been unlucky in a few games. There’s also been some shocking mistakes like Mowatt’s.

The point I’m trying to make is you have the manager who plays the right football - the players have accountability to play it and/or we need new players, particularly the centre halves and a number 10. Was McNair really someone who could get you in the prem? Middlesbrough let him go quickly. He was cheap, experienced and available.

Sack the manager, same issues…probably worse. As I say we have a highly successful championship manager exceeding expectations in every season he’s been in it. Don’t give him time, we’re back in the sh*te again.
