Just I don't see him having what you need to be a manager.

Why don't you be honest gru, you only wouldn't want Peltier or Wood back at the club because you consider them to be 'Warney Boys'. No other reason. It's nothing to do with you having any knowledge about 'having what you need to be a manager'.

Would give either of them managers job? I wouldn't.

No I wouldn't, but as usual you've missed the point.

Premature post - Steve will get the January transfer window which will likely see some of our longer serving players moved on and then time to see what happens after that - see Paul Davis’ post on X

SE * summer window up. If it was in the real world he wouldn't get another chance.

Seven weeks to the Winter football transfer window, 1st January 2025. Not long to go. I'm prepared to wait and see if TS allows SE to improve on our current playing squad.
Then we'll see if TS is prepared to back SE in the market.
Save the boos for the Christmas pantomimes at your local theatres. By the way Robin Hood is on at the Rotherham Civic Thursday, 28th November 2024 until Sunday, 5th January 2025.
I'll be there with family and friends at some point.

Just to be clear, that's just what I think will happen, not necessarily what I think should happen.
You have a valid point Masbrough. On the one hand I think that TS will stick with him until January but then if we lose at Crawley I find it hard to see how Evans can stay beyond that. January windows can be quite difficult. They usually don't bring that much success and merely act as sticking plasters rather than long term squad building.

Summer windows are when you mould your squad. Season dictated by that. On that basis looking like we didn't get it right back then.

January windows can be difficult because prospective recruits can see the lay of the land.

High quality ambitious players are unlikely to join a failing squad.
