I have to say I completely missed that DA faux pas

Me too…and I don’t think I’ve ever ‘gone off’ over Diane Abbott. I don’t particularly like the woman…all I’ve said is that her constituents seem to. Neither have I ever defended her further than saying she has maintained one of the biggest parliamentary majorities in the country.

I’m sure there are many people who don’t like her for racist reasons…they’re probably the sort who repeatedly make a fuss about Lammy too…but I’ve not actually said anything about that. Facts are everything TTR…you’re straying into the sort of ridiculously unfounded territory that led to you apologising years ago for claiming that I was ‘anti-English’.

Wasn't a faux pas. Like many of the things about her on "social" media, it was made up bullcrap. She has, indeed, got an impressive list of gaffes but this, and many others, wasn't one. There's many more amusing "made up" quips of things she's supposedly said than there are those she actually made. A fact that is not in the slightest bit surprising.
