That's a shock, it isn't long ago that he was posting 'soon' on X, leading most of us to think that he might be back sooner?

Anyone that disagrees with the fact that we needed another good stricker to replace any injuries to our attacking line is telling porkies. What did we get (again) possibles and maybes. I get we can't afford another Jatta but if we can't afford someone close to his ability that wants to push him (them) for their place then it could well be another season of excellent start and tailing off (I think that's the frustrating issue Boomerang).

What about bringing Junior Morias back? I'll get my coat

One of the oddest signings in all my nearly 50 years supporting Notts!!

Something about how we?re playing is actively discouraging players from getting into box. Go back and have a look at some highlights and see how few people are in the box when we cross the ball in - it?s usually only Jatta.
I blame Maynard. He doesn't get it.

We have been unlucky with injuries. Hopefully we can get some effective cover in January, because we definitely have a problem now.

Saunders and Maynard remind me of the Salford pair (Johnson and Morley) who ended up at Spennymoor. Non-league.

Ho hum. Change required in January or it?s another year in League 2 for us.
Maybe Langstaff will come back on loan in January. Wishful thinking I know

Nobody could have foreseen long term injuries to Edwards, Crowley and Jones at the same time. It's unfathomable and desperately unlucky. It's got nothing to do with Maynard either. We are looking a bit silly for selling Nemane though. Just look at the goals for column before we lost that lot. I think the biggest recruitment mistake is selling Nemane not for his goals more for what he can do to defences. Even when back they are likely to take a while to get up to speed. This season is fast becoming a right off unfortunately and surely Jones and Crowley will be gone at seasons end. I hope we can turn this around some how but without a fresh injection of blood it's hard to see how.

True. We've lost the league's top scorer permanently, the league's best player and top assister for half the season, and one of the best attacking midfielder's in the league who makes us tick. No wonder the goals dried up. If we'd taken one of those chances yesterday (not Maynard's fault), we'd all be pretty happy right now. It's a game of fine margins, and we've been unlucky to come away from the last two games with one point.

There is an issue that needs addressing in January as we're light up top (again, not Maynard's fault), but the biggest boost would be having Jones and Crowley fit again.
