It's great for a team if it has a defender who not only defends well but who can chip in with goals. We've said it on here we need other players to score instead of relying on Jatta and McGoldrick all the time.

So in Matty Platt we not only have a solid defender at this level but someone who can score goals as well. An excellent piece of recruitment.
