Carlos has been slaughtered by many fans on social media but this is a great post!

I?ve stayed quiet for a long time now because i didn?t want to jump to a rash conclusion after a lot of the disappointment we?ve had this season. But today?s game is enough for me.

I really struggle to see Carlos?s plan in games, the passing is slow and laboured. There?s lack of movement off the ball, and yes I know that is down to the players on the pitch, but it?s also down to the system that we?re playing and the system the players work on, day in, day out on the training pitch.

We have now dropped out of the top 6. And we don?t look like beating teams even when we go a goal in front. In fact, I prefer it when we go behind, because we actually try to score then. Instead, when we go in front, we seem to drop 20 yards, and sit and try and protect the lead we have got, instead of trying to kill the game off.

My biggest criticism is how bored I am, every single game. The style of play is just so so difficult to watch. It?s slow, it?s frustrating, and looks as though any move disintegrates as soon as we move forward from the back line.

The line-up from the start today baffled me. He returned Bartley to the line up to play alongside Holgate, when he has been out for a number of weeks due to injury and in my opinion needed bringing back in gradually. Also meaning he pushed Heggem back out to left full back, when it?s clear to see that Styles offers us more there, especially going forward, and Heggem is a natural CB not LB!

Paul Heckingbottom - Preston Manager - Today changed the system at half time, changed formation and a change of tactics, when have you ever seen Carlos do this? All he does is replace the players on the pitch with the players from the bench, to play the same way, in the same formation with no changes other than personnel. Basically hopes for the best.

I think now is time for change, and it actually pains me to say it because I love Carlos for what he has done for the club in the difficult period he managed us in, but now, it just isn?t working. And I believe we have the squad to compete in this division, but the manager and the tactics is what is holding us back.

Thank you Carlos, but it?s time to go.
