Far too old school for our owners.

Fullarton apparently did a really impressive PowerPoint presentation, worth a look?

Because he doesn't have the Billy Smarts for the job.

I'd hate to see IB back. He was taking FGR down and he'd be capable of doing the same for us.

You cannot ever write the pound sign on this site anymore.

A bit like a Nigerian scam email/youtube posters where they go for 4GBP to suck in the gullible.

Perhaps it is by design to suit our resident correspondents that get their news from this type of unreliable sh!te.

I wouldn?t be unhappy if IB came back, but he would need a better assistant than Ross or Doyle next time.
Forgot about that , what a great point you have brought up. Last time he was doing the job he had two arms tied behind his back.

So Maurice Ross left Fleetwood and Charlie Adam is now looking to bring in a "mentor".

Fleetwood Town manager Charlie Adam plans to bring in an experienced coach to work alongside him.

It comes following the departure of assistant manager Maurice Ross, who has returned to Scotland to be closer to his family.

In the meantime, Matt Lawlor, previously Fleetwood's under-21s manager, will step up to be a first-team coach working under Adam.

"I just feel that I need someone with experience beside me that can guide me and help me given the opportunity," Adam told BBC Radio Lancashire.

Adam, in his first managerial role, has been in the post for almost 12 months, although he could not prevent relegation to League Two.

Assuming the Bros aren't going to kneejerk and get rid of SM, maybe this is a model that could work - but no idea who they'd be able to bring in. Sometime who doesn't want a full time return to management but would be happy taking SM under his wing?

IB did have the coaching and tactical ideas, I just don't think he could motivate. Derry could motivate but didn't really have the tactical nous...
