Palaversa has signed a new two year deal for the AFC.
Good news, that.
A few things?.
Gunn I am sure is a very nice guy, hard working but I am far from convinced he and the one we got from Motherwell (the CEO) are nothing but a pair of waiters who keep Stewart Milne and Dave Cormack company when they appear for matches etc. They both are mere butlers when the hierarchy are out of the buildings we operate from.
Stewart Milne should be chased from Aberdeen FC!
Good to see we are investing in the January window for a change and backing this manager?.he needs to up his game as Cormack and Milne won?t be amused with good money spent but bad results continued.
Thelin?s attacking coach leaves. No loss really?we are absolutely powderpuff as an attacking team so he should have been fired anyway.
Ante Palaversa signs on for another 2 years. There is a player there but certainly one who needs to up his game. He should be looking to start more games than the captain of many a sacked manager. If not, then he is going to be a nothing player.
Pape Gueye?player of the season so far for Aberdeen. The rest have had good performances but some absolute stinkers. This guy has been very consistent in the small amount of matches he played.
Shinnie has been blethering to the press, ironically saying that talk is cheap and only actions will haul the Dons out of their malaise.
Maybe as captain, he should be tearing a strip off his team mates instead of talking to the papers?
As captain he has to speak to the press and thankfully he didn't resort to the Clangers way and tell the fans they were going to put things right in the next match. I used to cringe when Langfield did an article for the EE/P&J.
I think the article was fine enough. He speaks about requiring the right mentality to deal with runs like this, which we saw is very important after what happened to Ruby on Saturday. I doubt Ruby is the only one struggling in that team at the moment too.
Bring in Neil Lennon ASAP
