I don’t rate Evan’s at all, he is living off past achievements at RUFC and his non-league, L2 record. Raynor couldn’t coach my local kids team and the players can see how bad they are and that is why they are not playing for him. However it is too close to the window to sack him and his friendship with TS will protect him. So he will be staying.

For me TS and the inept people he has at the club are the bigger issue, for years they have made the same mistakes and look incapable of learning by past mistakes. It looks like we are going to tighten the budget even more over the next month, I expect the exit door to be used more than the entrance, I genuinely believe TS is happy to go down to L2 as long as the financial plan he has in place is achieved. For the first time I think he doesn’t have the clubs interests at heart.

If Evan’s had any integrity he would tell TS back me this window or sack me, if he isn’t backed he should walk and say openly that his and the clubs views on the needs of the squad were not aligned.

We have two men with huge ego and when it comes to football, very limited ability. Warne made TS look better than he is. It also looks like the club debt has gone up a lot so we aren’t even going to have the achievement of a very well run club financially.
I hope we win today, because I don’t want another relegation the real fans that truly care about the club, do not deserve that.

Not a prayer of him and his pal going. Looking at what was posted on another thread, maybe a project to work on. Who knows.

I walked into the Angel pub yesterday, talking to a mate I have known for years, we sat
on the same row in the west stand, when the NYS opened, until I decided to move to the
    north stand.
Mate got on about Tony Stewart & what he has done for Rotherham United Football Club,
but he said, its time that everyone stopped doffing their hat to Tony Stewart.
I think his comment is correct, Tony Stewart has had the plaudits for a long time, now
time to stop the Tony Stewart doffing of the hat syndrome.

True, doffing of the hat is "old hat".

However, TS is the man at the helm at the moment and until he sells up we are in limbo and therein lies the problem.

In all honesty (knowing the crowd on here are all Yorkshiremen/women) given our current debt (I'm guesstimating in excess of 5m), our current squad, our current management pair, our current league position and the fact that RUFC does not own NYS, who on here would pay the princely sum of ONE POUND for the club? I don't think I would!
