It does indeed SB. I have to say that we've also been unfortunate in games this season and suffered injuries etc. It all evens art in end though dunt it. Unless the squad is added to in January, I still think it's touch and go for the play offs. Encouraging run is this mind. It'll come art in wesh

The stick he has been getting is way over the top, yes he was poor against Orient but so were the rest of the team, the defence in front of him offered scant protection and he struggled to come to terms with horrendous conditions but today when the weather once again caused problems especially with driving rain in his face and the ball like a bar of soap he kept his confidence and played a massive part in getting us the win, but alas I feel some of our fans made up their mind about him before he played a game and he will always be one mistake away from getting slaughtered again , shame because I think given time he could turn out to be a decent keeper .

I don?t know if you have noticed a subtle change in Killip since the Orient game Shads? But he has started to b0ll0ck the defence when the opposition get a shot off or slip the back line! To me this shows that he has a new found confidence or a belief that he believes he is the right no1.

Good point Perky , I noticed at Peterboro that he giving it out to individuals at the back when the Posh created something from a defensive error and yes he was extremely animated again yesterday , it could be him displaying confidence and he does appear to showing a lot more authority but consistency is the key and if he can establish this as his game develops then we may have a decent keeper in the making, the thing is that this will not happen over night and a degree of patience from the fan base towards him would help him big time but as I have said I do believe a number of the fans had written him off before he had played a game and they will want to be proven right.

Yes you are right , I was there and the majority of fans sat around us were of the same opinion , he made some great saves and kept his concentration levels throughout, personally I think he fully deserved his award although a special mention for Connell who got through an enormous amount of work and broke down their play extremely well , the last three games have shown him getting back to something like and what an asset he is to us at this level.

I could be wrong but I?m fairly sure it?s a ?sponsors man of the match? when announced in the ground.

There are a few polls on social media that allows voting and he seems to be winning all of them and possibly deservedly so.

My MOTM by a country mile before being subbed was Earl.
    An outstanding performance.

As for Killip - he made some brilliant saves.
But can he kick - can he F? !!!
And as Patrick once said- our goalkeeper is the first line of attack.
Which int happening if Thunder Booits keeps hoofing the ball to the 10th row of the East Stand.

Earl did have a very good 50 minutes but the real pressure did not come until the last 30 minutes when we were under constant pressure, without Pines and his height I think we would have conceded but Killip should get the plaudits , when the the pressure and conditions were at their worst he stood firm and made some excellent decisions ans ***** saves, but here we go again, the lad cannot win, he plays a blinder but know he has to take critique , " He cannot kick " , it is pathetic , he starts more moves off then most keepers, if he collects the ball and throws it or rolls it quickly to a reds shirt , players have to move out quickly and look for space and look to receive the ball if they don"t Killip is left with the ball in his hands and it is kick and hope but hey lets not let the lad enjoy is moment lets look to find something wrong, I give up with some of our so called fans I really do.
