You need to get informed Ballcock and others if you think all that is going on in Gaza is stone throwing. Just information, the population of Gaza is about 2.1million. The West Bank has over 3 million But our Middle east reporter says ' The Zealots are intent on making Gaza and later the West Bank uninhabitable so they can take it over. Does anybody know if its possible to remove over 5 million people?? Without the using the I D F ? Or will the IDF do the job for them ,the Zealots? Do you mean to say the Israeli Government will wage a war on Gaza and the West Bank Arabs just for the Zealots desires?? Would a government call on their Army just to please the Zealots?? Just added info. As 2025 starts, Israelis face a $11-billion (40-billion-shekel) war bill that will likely deepen social and political divides. That is this year's estimated cost of a long list of taxation hikes and spending cuts, including a 1% rise in value-added tax, that has just gone into effect. I do not think that taking over a Nation is ,or will be on the Israeli Agenda soon

The zealots I have in mind Balan are not the Orthodox Jews some of which are against the policy of the Likud including some rabbis, but people like Ben Gvir, Smotrich, and the settler movement who are motivated by biblical fantasies. They constantly harass and murder Palestinians in the West Bank[ about 900 since Oct 6], burn their olive trees, kill their animals. There are numerous videos of this sort of thing shown on TV over here but probably not in Israel. Unless you read the Haaretz newspaper I'm sure you only get one side of the story. It's no wonder the Palestinians are in revolt and Hamas are popular. imo Netanyahu is leading Israel into a disastrous future where there will be no peace for a long, long time. You cannot indiscriminately kill thousands of people, including children and not expect parents and families to seek revenge.
Many Palestinians have not forgotten the Nakba of 1948 when 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their villages by Israelis never allowed to return.
