Not much praise for the manager on here tonight. I think that?s a little unfair tbh. Yes it?s only a couple of decent results but if we lose he gets plenty of stick.
Think he deserves a little more credit after last 2 results.
Shout out to Phillips, solid last couple of games.

Most frustrated of all when Bramall carried the ball all the way up the pitch and passed it directly and accurately towards an unmarked Wilks, only for him to stand like a statue and let the defender in! GRRRR FFS! Feel like I?ve actually watched a match after that one though.
Made me smile as I felt the same 🙂

A draw was a fair result, Jules and Odoffin are forming a strong partnership in our central defence and Phillips in goal is getting better all the time. I still feel we don't move the ball quick enough at times, but there has been a sense in the last 3 games that things could be changing a little, as winning games as well as not losing them breeds confidence. I thought the ref seemed to give them a lot of minor fouls first half but then seemed to give us the same courtesy 2nd half, and although he took his time with the sending off it was 100% the correct decision. All in all a hard fought draw against a very decent team and on that showing the players are very much right behind the manager. UTM

Talking of being behind the manager reminds me of the interview Daniel Nardiello gave (it?ll probably be on YouTube) where he more or less said he hated SE and his management style but would be the first manager he?d sign again for given his success and record
Nombe did one for Tiser last week saying SE was always slating him on the pitch but he loved it as he wanted the best for him
Two examples of Evans make of it what you will

When I watched the Lincoln game all you could hear was Evans shouting Sam, Sam, Sam. I think evans knows he has a hard working young professional that wants to improve and is willing to take a bit of the Evans approach to do so. If it works for the pair of them, so be it. Nombe reminds me a bit of Paul Warne when he played for us, he works so hard, chases lost causes has a desire to do well but doesn't score as many as he should. however I bet the other players love playing with him, because of the work he puts in. I know we will get the ones saying look at how much we had to pay, I get that, but that is not the players fault that was a decision made by the club and the manager at the time. I would rather watch a team full of players like, nombe, powell and Odoffins that put in a real shift than a team of hugills, JChs & Bramalls that never look bothered or give a damn about the team.

For bringing players that should have been in the team anyway?

That?s what you get with Steve evans and your face doesn?t fit.

Is he? I just thought harris was tired and he had no choice? We shall see, if he reverts back.
