Well, lets look at it in a less selfish way than yours, as someone whos work office is based in Tamworth we have some lads who have season tickets and when can afford it go away as well and are not on the best of wages who were struggling to afford a ticket, personally I would have thought season ticket holders who are smaller at that level would have been offered them at a normal match day price instead of the inflated price.

Just because you can afford it doesnt mean the ones who go week in week out and support them through lots of thick and thin shouldnt be ignored just because some plastic fans can afford too. Like some of them have said to me they will remember this. Again, perhaps think before you post.

At an extra ?20/ticket with a 4000 capacity, thats an extra ?80K, they said all monies from the match would be invested back into the club. Painful for the fans? yes in the short term, but gives them a chance for improving infrastructure and long term stability of the club.

The club are a business with a once in many seasons opportunity. They would be mad to pass it up. Any passionate fan would understand that and only a very few would be unable to afford the extra cost. If tickets had been ?20 and they won would those fans say they can't afford the next round. I think not. I don't think any club would pass up the chance to make a big payday.

Spot on. A chance to make money to go towards securing the club (or perhaps helping them into the EFL) only the tightest would kick against that.
And well done Tamworth, and well done Hadyn!

Couldn't agree more. I remember him being mentored by Mike Edwards. That was what he needed, not Nolan's open mockery.
