Those Watneys, Party Seven cans were pretty horrible back in the day, only surpassed in horriblenesss by my Dad's, home made efforts which would probably get you nicked under the terrorism rules today.

Back to Shippos and I would actively avoid their pubs, did not like that stuff at all and I agree that Kimberley was sweet but I liked it, often over imbibed at the Three Ponds in Nuthall.

Sadly you're wrong because Pilsner (which is popular in Germany...) is a lager, and Kellerbier is also a lager.

I remembered why I have you on ignore, it's because you have no idea and blindly post like the other one does

Edit: For the folks at home, lagers are often carbonated types of beer, it's made using different strains of yeast...

... And weirdly was invented/discovered by the Bavarians.

Beer at home means Davenports. I only remember the TV adverts as a young lad, honest.

My favourite beer currently is a stout from of all places, Sri Lanka. Lion Stout, a thing of beauty.

Also have semi regular deliveries of Belgian tripels, dubels and quads. Many on the strong side, so definitely sippers, but knock piss like madri and carlsberg out of the park.

Ill give that Jay a go in the nest but supping out of a plastic glass is never that enticing a prospect.

Aaah, dancing the Old Basford two-step.That brings back some memories.
What with the brewery and the Cussons soap factory across the way Bobbers Mill and Whitemoor could seem like a more innocuous Bhopal.

"If you feel like the bottom is falling out of your world, have a pint of Shippos and instead the world will fall out of your bottom"

The old ones are the best.
