Agreed. He was way ahead of his time so to speak. His footballing philosophy was superb. Lovely bloke too. Mick W obviously, not Martin K!

Another player currently injured and has been since mid December. How long will it take for him to be fit and understand the system we play. If he signs we will have brought in 3 players with no more than a handful of first team appearances behind them this window. Coming to the business end of the season with an aim of promotion we need players that can hit the ground running and have the stats to back them up that?s why MK Dons have signed the players they have this January and Plymouth want Jatta.

4 players in the January window. Johnson, Whitaker, Jarvis, Reindorf. All with relatively little experience.
I hope at least 2 of them come good. Or is RM confusing quantity with quality?
Perhaps it helps us balance the books? I really hope we are not selling Jatta.

Him coming. Looks like Jatta won't be leaving, which is a massive positive.

I get this guys unproven but who do we actually go for realistically if their being brought in as back up? I think Jack Stevens isn?t really a No 9 either.

You either go for someone in the EFL that can?t get in a matchday squad or look non league as no clubs willingly going to let a proven goal scorer for them leave in Jan and also many players if their any good won?t want to play second fiddle.

Maybe because one is an injured player returning from a NL loan spell and the other is a forward who has never scored a goal.
