    Widely respected you say.

He certainly wasn't last season when he guided Burnley to relegation, he and we were the laughing stock of the Premier League, and later Bayern for giving him the top job in Germany, to our relief 😮*💨

Someone said last week that the club has lost its direction.

We are a well organised, hard working, hard to beat outfit that gets the job done, what more do you want?

Onwards and upwards to the next round

Smashing team performance once again and a chance for one or two to show that they want to be playing instead of being stuck on the bench. Thought that the subs were introduced at the right time today as well and gave them a decent 30 minutes to get into the game, apart from Redmond who was much later, but it was good to see him on the park after his injury problems.

I said that and I still believe it is the case off the field!
I never criticise our players or management, never have and never will and that is for over 73 years now.
Great win today and worked hard for it.

When our B Team wins away at a (albeit struggling) prem clubperhaps there is hope for us in the promised land. We just have to beat the Blades who annoyingly keep winning.

Great performance by everybody especially Hannibal. Sarmiento ran his socks off and Shelvy looked good, very encouraging in every way.

Leeds and Sunderland yet to go to the lane. If they defend like they did today they will get beat. Pompey missed a hatfull of chances 1st half
