On January 2nd Walsall were 15 points clear. It's now 6.

We've 9 points more ourselves and we have 1 more point than Wrexham did last year and one less than Mansfield.

Hats off to SM. Been numerous times over his tenure I've not thought he was up to it - very happy to hopefully be proven wrong.

I don?t think SM has done a lot wrong in his tenure. I know there are those who blame him for our implosion last season but let?s be honest, he was hamstrung by the ****est defence in the country. He had a captain who as we have seen since, is a **** house.
SM has shown that with the right pieces of the jigsaw he can put together a puzzle. We are winning games in different ways and defensively we are chalk n cheese from a year ago without deviating a huge amount from the philosophy.
There are those who think you need to have played the game at a good level to understand football and be able to coach? it?s not the case as has been seen with Rooney and many others.
I?m not a fan of SM?s accent, but as a bloke I can see why Notts and more importantly the players have bought in to him.

I was at that game in the main stand, but near the Notts end. The players went to the fans after the game and took boos and a lot of abuse. I think that stung them into action too.
