Well there you go. Now you know who it was all down to. Unfortunately the two grandchildren who’ve never seen Derby lose are Berlin based, are returning home tomorrow and won’t be visiting PP again this season. Feel free to organise a whip round to meet the cost of their return flights for all remaining matches.

A pleasure today. Great commitment and not as nerve shredding as it might have sounded. Thought Adams, Fozzy, Phillips and Armstrong were particularly good, but the injuries continue to build. Hope Langas and Armstrong are recovered for Tuesday.

Great result, gives us a small degree of hope.

Frank in town next week. Let's hope his team selection is on a par with Wembley.

Seriously, a battling of not skilful performance, MA may correct me on a technicality but Yates looked offside for the first goal
Hard to say with so many bodies, looked like a foul on him to me, if fozzy hadn't scored I'd have been shouting for a penalty

Yes I'm less than confident about that given the horrendous run of injuries that keep happening, but hey one has to believe!

Blackburn was an unexpected, but very welcome, 3 points. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank their supporters for playing their part in this. The inflatable snake waving and the anti JE chants resulted in a very good performance by all 4 sides of the ground and the team was helped as well. The 2 early goals didn't harm us either.

Not out of the woods yet but it's a start.
