We have owners who we hardly ever hear from.
We had a "Director of Football" (sort of) who left for greener pastures (Traore as a parting gift). On Swansea City's site their owners described his role at Notts as "He was tasked with running the club?s football operations, including overseeing player recruitment, managerial appointments, academy operations, medical, sports science, and analysis." A very big hole to fill but we have heard nothing other than their first statement where they said "it presents us with an opportunity to review our current set-up to ensure we?re in a strong position to continue the club?s positive progress". So who is having to carry out those tasks now?
We have a Chief Executive who we only hear from if they are talking about The Nest.
We have a manager who has lost his 2 most senior coaches after an incident at the beginning of the year only to have them replaced by an analyst.
So what are we hearing from the club? Absolutely nothing!
Are we progressing with the appointment of a new "DoF" to help oversee the running of the club and starting to analyse our needs for next season? Don't know!
Are we going to bring in experienced coaches to help reduce the enormous additional workload that must have been put on SM? Who knows!

The latter point is the most relevant at the moment because it would make a big difference to our on the field performances.

Crowley needed to be replaced. I know we are aiming for sustainability but drops of 2000 on the gate per match (?40000???) is worrying. Reminds me of the saying about knowing the price of everything but the value of nothing.

Silently ambling along with no direction or purpose. To me we seem Rudderless.
Well I'm really surprised that the bros haven't been on the phone to you to keep you up to speed every day 🤔
How about being patient until their is something to disclose

You and Mapperly winding up the be patient with SM/Radar posters like you're glad you might have been right is disappointing really when we all have Notts' success at heart don't we - as long as it's not the prem pah!

SM's kept us in touching distance despite all his best players being mostly at home in bed. But most fans would agree that we've 'suddenly' become uber pants on matchday. It's clear one thing the bros have found a rough gem in SM, whether he's capable of getting polished enough quick enough for the bros stated ambitions ... looks debatable to me. We really have to pull something out of the hat against Grimsby to make me think SM's safe with the bros tbh.
Can I congratulate you on a excellent post as apposed to the irritating OP which is more like an effort from a spoilt 5 year old than someone born in 1955

I agree with you Swale, but their silence is deafening!

I'm sure they are pretty busy looking for ways to plug the holes and get the engine/sails operating again. Personally I'd just get the bits I need from Ebay or Amazon but I guess they can't find what they want there.

I did not expect that Montagues successor would have been appointed by now unless it was from within. But I think it would show some respect to their paying customers and more importantly the fans who will be here long, long after they are gone to keep us in the loop. We might all have different thresholds but for me, 4 weeks doesn?t seem too soon to put some sort of message out that things are progressing (or not). What is yours? 3 months? 6 months?
As someone further up the thread said - Silence is deafening.

What is far, far more concerning is the lack of coaching staff to support SM when he and the team quite clearly need help and help now. It is 2 months+ since the Saunders departure. Is it the intention to wait until Montagues replacement is in place and assessed the situation before action is taken? That would probably mean not this season. It would also probably mean that they are content with decline and no promotion. Montague is gone so the only people who are able to make the appointments or dismissals now are the Reedtz brothers.
As I said before - To me we appear rudderless.

It was deafening when we were on a winning run? What do we want them to give us a cuddle and tell us it?s going to be alright?
