Had high hopes when we signed Armstrong on deadline day but must admit, to date, those hopes have not materialised. We really are missing Maja.

All on Mowbray for me today, wrong team selection, Price along with his goal did well at right wing back but should be in midfield, for me the back four should have been Holgate, Diakite, Bartley, Heggam
Armstrong needs to shape up big style

Molumby was magnificent again today. Wants the ball all the time, very mobile, direct and some classy touches.
Tom Fellows was left out of the Burnley game ,due to a family Bereavement , don't think he trained much this week .
Certainly agree about the back four bomber (and given his performance against Burnley I really don't know why Diakite was not selected) and similarly feel that Dike a better starting option than a recently disappointing Armstrong but don't think today's lack of goals can all be laid at TM's door. First half -once we settled-we did create chances but it was the lack of clinical finishing that cost us again whether that be Armstrong, Grant or Johnston.
This is by no means a dig at Corberan but there are still remnants of his coaching left in the players, until this is eradicated then we?ll still see the extra pass instead of shooting, next season with the addition of two or three players could be quite exciting
Indeed Bomber buddy. Mowbray alluded to that in one of his post match interviews. He commented that there are still too many passes back/across the back rather than getting the ball out to the wings and into the box. I was delighted to hear him say that a free kick from the half way line can be played into their penalty area.
Hull were much quicker and more alert to the 2nd ball…and of course we gave the ball away far too many times.
Bartley was off his game and looked tired. His persistence in collecting the one yard free kick and pass out from Wildsmith and then walking and pausing with the ball is badly delaying Mowbray’s alleged desire to get it forward. Time to rest Bartley and replace with Diakite. The latter earned this last time out.
