Actually watched all the game. Keeper cause he's 1st choice James 2 centre backs Rice Bellingham Kane take from the game. Rodgers showed something. Elsewhere when they do meet the better sides requires better especially out wide.

    Where were the flair players?
The fact he reluctantly added Gibbs-White to the squad and never gave him a minute on the pitch, yet he puts on Henderson (who instinct is to pass back or sideways), Walker and leaves on Rashford for so long (14 crosses and only 2 found a man) then puts on Foden (good player but not in form at all this season)

Gibbs-White is the heart of a good Forest side, he scores he creates goals, he is the captain. he has won trophies with England. I wasn't impressed at all

Give him time he will sort it out. He has to see everyone at his disposal so you would assume they will all get a run at some point.

Certain players, Kane, Bellingham, Pickford et al will always get a start. It was the introduction of Eze last night that lit up the game and I hope he took serious note of that mans ability and uses him more in future games.

Your point on Gibbs - White is a good one but not all club players make international ones, Foden being a prime example. Never plays well for England as his free role at City isn't allowed in the England team game.

Brin Eze another 10 a penny cut inside wide player like Foden Rashford Gordon Grealish there'll be more. Bowden isn't good enough. That's my quiz question when was the last time England had a natural wide player? Sign of a player lacking in quality who can't go on the outside.

My biggest concern is that we haven?t got a lock smith nobody to unlock packed defences, played two poor sides & couldn?t work it out, better sides will have seen this.To be honest I?ve not seen much difference from Southgate.

If we lose to the better teams in the World cup knockout rounds, it won't be unusual, it's what we do all the time.

He is an international player that has performed at the highest level for his age, world cup winner u17 and uefa under 21 winner, he might have been captain then.

We do but he didn't play him, this guy will be like the managers of the 70's and 80's when they didn't play Bowles, Hudson and Hoddle. I think we will do ok under him, but not sure we will see entertaining football.
