Nice to get a winner, even though I thought a draw would have been fair, and although MH has done really well as interim manager, I would like to see him alongside an experienced ex manager so he can learn his trade. Isn't that what he's been doing for the past N years under PW?

He wasn't Paul Warne's number 2 CAM as that was Richie Barker, and whilst he has had a great start as interim, I'm not sure he'd know how to react if he was appointed as permanent manager with no one to lean on as and when things got tough, and they always do eventually. from someone who's been there before. Paul Warne had Richie Barker, who had managed clubs himself, to talk to which I'm sure helped keep him sane. UTM

His CV is already immeasurably better than Warnes when he was thrown it at the deep end. It worked well (eventually) then and it might work better now. He'll get the gig now. Mr Stewart is no fool. He felt the warmth of the fans today. And if Hamshaw turns out to be a dud Mr Stewart will be able to say I gave you what you wanted. Hamshaw is not an expensive proposition. He's going nowhere apart from here

Alexa- define a typical Rotherham United supporter?

They will single a player out (Mpanzu) for not being up to their high standards despite just watching a game full of positives, which they won and would have lost miserably 2 weeks ago.

Only reason they came back into it yesterday was Kelly was running on empty 2nd half gave that pen away cause of that & same as it's been all season no wide right player. Tues Hull in at centre back move Humphreys in midfield for Kelly. Holmes for Mpanzu. Good to see a better home support they can't have been disappointed with the all round performance of the side.

Rafferty's celebration after his winning goal was akin to a kid who'd just scored his first goal and was unsure how to react. Priceless!!
