On late evening Easter Monday I may well be pi$$ed from celebrating yet another bounce back to the EPL.

Then we can all spend our time speculating on what we need to do to try and stay there before reality kicks in.

Recent seasons have shown that once promoted from the Championship a team is almost immediately relegated from the EPL. Ipswich, Leicester & Southampton this season, us the Blades & the Hatters previously. It would be mightily interesting to see if Parker can avoid relegation next season.

A balance required and some players that can compete - if we keep / buy the loans I still think we need a forward a centre mid and a left back plus cover for positions- and then we need to be able to change our play and defend a lot.

That?s without the problems of leavers -

One things for sure we can?t buy 15 players and expect to gel them and play in the best league overnight - and as I posted many times under VK if you let the ball come in your box un challenged you will be punished for it - let?s see if we go up first anyway.

We will be promoted army88 this season without a shadow of a doubt.

We will have the funds to buy Humphreys, Anthony, Flemming, Edwards and hopefully Brownhill and Egan Riley will sign contracts and stay.

Barnes and Foster will need to be replaced, perhaps Amdouni will return?

Delcroix, Ekdal, Massengo, Sambo, Hountondji, Dodgson, Tresor and Benson all need to be sold, Sarmiento & Shelvey and Redmond will all depart which will leave behind a massive hole to fill.

Can we keep hold of Trafford Koleosho and Esteve? No doubt there will be a massive chop & change of players and a massive recruitment drive needed in July. Parker & Pace will need to be on top of their game that is for sure.

Hopefully the recruitment will be more pragmatic this time. I am sure Parker will set a team up not to get battered every week, unlike last time when our play was far to open

Can't see us selling Esteve unless he has a buy out clause in his contract. CJ Riley will definitely sign and hopefully Brownhill to. I would also try to keep hold of Trafford

We will need 2 new full backs, strong central midfield, striker, a No 10 and a winger

Humphries, Anthony and Flemming will definitely be staying and hopefully Edwards.

I would sell Koleosho and look for a
replacement, his heart isn't with us

We should look to spend 110 million with a wage bill of 90 million. If we spend wisely we should be able to recoup our 110 million if relegated

I think Pace is astute enough to have learned from the Kompany era mistakes. We certainly have the nucleus of a very good EPL team, we just need to tune the orchestra up and add some serious strength in depth.

Mr Pace is astute enough to have acquired a PL club on the cheap and loaded it with debt he won't be personally responsible for, apart from that I'm not too sure about him. We should be able to finish above the two other promoted Championship clubs, but to survive we need a PL club to implode and turn into the proverbial basket case. Unfortunately I can't see a likely candidate, they all seem relatively safe and sound at the moment, even Everton.

West Ham, Wolves, Sheffield United to go down next season.
