On the face of it, it seems strange I got six correct scorelines (including three in a row at one point) yet I finished 34th but then you see I actually didn't predict a single home defeat this season, only a few away games I predicted as losses.

UTM has posted some brilliant stats today which should give a solid indication into how to score points in this competition format. The second golden rule is not to be a happy clapper or a bedwetter, but be prepared to alternate between the two as you see fit. The first golden rule is to predict what you think will happen rather than what you want to happen.
