We struggled to find our feet and faced the expected all out enthusiastic attack from them but as the half wore on we settled and looked much better.
1-0 the good guys, nice firm finish from Watters, the goal made in Falkirk after a brilliant forward run from Sibbaldi
    C'mon United 🧡

Came into the game in the last fif**** minutes. Hungarian lost his man which could have been punished. Mix-up with Bert & keeper which resulted in scuffed shot past the post. Nearly behind in the first minute, however we've got a lead at half-time on the plastic, can't complain.

Phuckin hate these plastic pitches, get them in the bin.

Not the worst performance on what is a shocker of a plastic pitch. Numerous moments of Utd players slipping or feet getting stuck which led to their second goal.

    An awful surface.

Esselink slips out wide and Falkirk get their first goal. If that is on grass no way does Esselink slip. Only Scottish football would allow plastic pitches in the top flight.

Thought Camara was MOTM in an attacking sense. Still wide open and far too easy. Suspensions will play a part this season for United.

Was not looking forward to this game. Everything was pointing to a perfect storm. First 20 minutes confirmed it but we got in to the game and players began to link up with the passes. Camara was excellent. Disappointing conceding so quickly after going 2-1 up. There were definite signs of what we might be this season. More positive than negatives.

    Also agree.

Camara showing why we brought him in.

On the other hand Sapsord was very frustrating. Pappoe was better today and with a midfield 3 we looked good when we settled to the task.
Dolcek took his goal really well, that will boost his confidence.
We were a bit open at times, not used to seeing that under JG and it's scary to watch.
More than merited the draw though in a dangerous place to go on day one.

Defo would have taken the draw at the start of the game but now feel we could have won it.

Keeper did well but he?s going to cost us at times this season. Far better performance than the euro games. Camara was excellent. Defence as a whole did well and we were far better with 3 in the middle. As someone mentioned more positives than negatives. 🖤🧡

Like other say, Camara was my MotM, but thats not saying he was great.

Very well taken goals from Watters and Dolcek, but im left wondering if the latter had put in a wee bit more effort in to get back that both their goals would have been stopped?

Oor keeper gives me the fear though!
