Norma Shearer was stunningly beautiful in my eyes,I read that she had piercing blue eyes and while most actresses of the time played the virgin look she didn't,she played the opposite,a flapper who liked a good time,can you imagine meeting her back in the 1930s with those looks and blue eyes God I would have been smitten,she's long forgotten now but not by us who seek out old black and white movies

The table`s still looking tight with only 6 points between the top 12, though Crusha`s dropping off the pace a bit at this early stage. He only got nothing in a week when most folk got 4s and 5s. NZBlue`s 1 drops him down 6 places; Mullen`s up three to joint top with his 5.

A bit of movement this week with scores from 9 down to 3 - and Pete didn?t show up. Chalky got the 9, showing a bit of last season`s form, so well done to him. That was enough to lift him up 6 places to 4th. Pete went the other way, down 6 places to 11th. Alf also went up 4 so we now have 3 joint leaders and there isn?t much in it below that; a good week for someone can put them on top.
