Going forward it will prove a valuable win away from home. I don't think we were under the kosh much and it does appear to have been a poor game.
But these games early on can put down a marker. Happy weekend everybody...

Not a great game but a good win and whilst more to do going forward, nice to see us so solid defensively. I expected good things from Phillips but Campbell continues to impress too. We definitely need a decent replacement for Fellows though. Top of Table too (well, for now but still a good start!)

The clubs targeted leaders this summer and you can see why. We were so well led on the pitch.

We need a couple of quality players but this is such a great start for Mason.

I hate to be a stuck record, but Id love to hear from those that said, without any trepidation, that Mason would be a failure.

Impressive win but more importantly the work rate was first class. I thought Campbell and Phillips were outstanding and Mowatt and Mepham worked hard.

Love Heggebo and just needs to perfect - one touch and bang in front of goal.

    Great victory…I thought we’d lose.
Substitutes were somewhat overdue, particularly Wallace who looked tired early in the 2nd half.
I was a little disappointed to see us sit back and seemingly settle for defending the one goal lead. We achieved it, so credit due ! I would preferred to see not quite so many back passes…it doesn’t help with my blood pressure.
