No defending the BBC in their editing on this one. Very poor journalism.

But for people to then say that the likes of GB News deliver truthful, balanced news is laughable as it has been hit by Ofcom fines over 10 times for misinformation since it's launch 4 years ago. GB News is no better than the likes of Novara Media - presenting a very biased version of the news to suit a far right/left agenda. This is all well and good, but neither should really be taken seriously as an impartial or balanced news source. The BBC seems to be trying to join them with this sloppy nonsense. Go to multiple news sources I'd say, don't rely on any one of them.

The BBC doctored a speech made by Donald Trump before the presidential election.They completely distorted the truth to make it look like Trump provoked a riot at Capitol Hill.This is criminal and the BBC have hit an even lower level.What have Offcom got to say about this blatant dishonest broadcasting?

I don't think the archive of previous posts stretches back to this time, so please remind me Bill, how outraged you were when Trump

failed to send the National Guard to rescue those trapped in the Capitol on the 6th or those fighting the goons encouraged by Trump to

kill Pence. Remind me how many people were killed or subsequently died as a result of the insurrection.

Remind me why Trump was impeached, and where he would be now if he hadn't won the election and forgiven himself for all his sins.

People, unfortunately, will only go as far as they need to find a source which:
1) Feels reasonably credible
2) Aligns to their general world view

Staunchly sitting in the corner of any of these people/entities, defending or championing them, with no ability to accept that they're deeply flawed, is what kills any sort of meaningful discussion.

Journalists like Neil Oliver (GBNews) who I see has now been relegated to YT because his opinions are even too outrageous for the main platform.

The NY Post (owned by that radical leftie Murdoch) has reported that 1 million people will leave NY as a result of Mamdani winning the mayoralty. Such noble journalism!
