Just looked says Sheff W can sign 2 out of contract players at the moment. They have one. Whatmore was training with Stockport but they had no interest in signing him saying he had a significant injury back in March this year. That puts me off him signing here.

He?s a good player if fit but he his not a goal scorer, could play well with Nombe when he?s back.

Rumour is he’s been offered a deal by us till the end of the season this was while training with the Pigs, I know it happens but there’s obviously an element of playing us off against each other and he obviously prefers the higher level although come May that won’t apply, if he signs fair enough if not I am personally not too bothered and let’s wait till January, his record seems very average but I do acknowledge he has played his career at a high level, also Paul Davis has it wrong he wasn’t just training with Stockport they wanted to sign him but their manager decided not to due to an op he had in March I’d be tempted to walk away we have enough forwards not playing anyway

Till end of season I'd jump at with option of signing fully if successful would suit us even better. If he's not bothered then no great loss, and we wait till January.
