I watched the 13th Summer on Prime the other night.

Classic tale of a couple who go on vacation and encounter a stranger who isn't quite right. Lots of twists and a really enjoyable film, set in Australia.

RU66, there is a TV movie called 'The Lottery' it's an adaptation from the book by Shirley Jackson starring Keri Russell.

It explores the unsettling annual tradition in a small village where a lottery is held, leading to a shocking, violent outcome.

It might not be the one to see for you though as it may shatter all your dreams of what may happen should you ever win big pal.

Just watched "The Ballad Of Wallis Island" starring Tim Key (Alan Partridge's "sidekick Simon" on Radio Norfolk).

British comedy drama at it's absolute best. Superb characters, a great story, sentimental without going over the top.

It takes a lot for a film to charm me, but this one hit the spot. A brilliant, easy watch.

Yeah, me and Mrs Pup loved that one for reasons you give.

I went to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple yesterday. I thought it was pretty good. My companion thought it was 'loud'.

It wouldn't make much sense if you haven't followed the 28 films and in particular 28 Years Later.

Watched Song Sung Blue starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson tonight. Based on a Neil Diamond tribute act.

Plenty of cheese but we thought it was a good watch.

Most of the old fu@kers on here will know the tunes as well. 😂

Good solid no brainer action film.

Reminded me of the original assault on precinct 13
Thanks for the nod on this one buddy, watched it last night. Great twist to it all throughout. Quite eerie when all the outside lights come on at the all the properties in the cul de sac. To think that cartels could buy up whole streets like that makes logical sense in order to protect their main house.

Probably the most enjoyable film I watched last year.
