Plenty more Brazilian striker Wonderkids in the favela!
Plenty of quality that we won't sign, they will go to teams like Bournemouth for a year, then on to teams in the top 6 for a fortune. The exact plan that would help us out psr wise.

There is merit in what you're saying. Farming players for profit has been how the smaller clubs traditionally survive and why the like of Palace cosy up to the Cartel and obstruct NUFC at every possible turn.

Newcastle United have not been good sellers and the whole No14 saga was a classic example of how even when making big money selling a player caused havoc.

The current model is to sign those super stars of tomorrow aged under 23/24 with huge potential to be a world class player.

This years key target, the much mooted Kees Smit, is a key example. Couldn't get him in the summer, won't sign in Jan probably gonna be over shadowed by a Real Madrid at the end of the season.

As the days tick by it's looking as though there won't be any signings made at all.

Burn will be the back up for Hall and LB and CB on the left.

Methalie is the only player with credible links with the club waiting until late in the window to see how he recovers from the minor clean us surgery op he has at the end of December.

Aside from that, the club will wait until the summer by the look of things.

That's probably the most logical thing to do, keep the powder dry, however, the summer window will more or less go down the same as last year no doubt.

Hysteria over a Tonali or Bruno leaving every day, Fab the liar and talk Sh!te just grinding away on and on and on, whilst incomings are later in the window as the cartels bullies block stall and manipulate the market.

Better get used to it until the Toon has the commercial clout to go toe to toe with those corrupt red wrong'uns!

My hope is that our summer targets are the likes of Methalie and that kind of age bracket.

If Smit is a target, it needs to be a take it or leave it offer and the 2nd option is signed a week or two into the window, not after the Premier league has already kicked off.

That sh!t has got to stop!

    Agreed Rag.

However, I feel more optimistic with our new top team.

They just seem more on the ball and in sync with the club/Eddie/ownership etc.

So with PSR or whatever they going ahead with these days, would it be wiser to spend now - in the same reporting year as we sold Is? still nope 😆 so our profit/loss whatever takes into account the 100m+ from that transfer?

Take it or leave it it offers for
    Methalie
    Smit
    Rayan

    Squad for the future

The club have been trying to sign Smit since last summer. Went in strong again this Jan. The lad wants to see the season out at a key player in Holland. I can't blame him. Gonna be a big challenge to sign him in the summer. Jorge Mendez one of the most corrupt (allegedly) agents in the game has apparently taken control of the lads future. So he's off to Real Madrid or A Man U as they've already got their backdoor payment systems set up with Mendez from the CR7 days.

Pulling off his signature in the summer would be a massive coup and quite a statement.

    On the Midfield.

Say Forest completely bottle it, with West Ham on the rise, Anderson's price tag could come down to something approachable.

Let's say 60m quid get Anderson and Mendez jacks up the price for Smit to 60m as well, who would you choose?

Methalie - Might see a late bid for the kid before the window closes. It's a 'watch this space' one
